Bio

I’ve told stories for about as long as I can remember. One of my earliest memories is watching Star Wars as a young boy and thinking, ‘This is what I want to write when I’m older.’ Admittedly, I’ve yet to go on to write for George Lucas or Disney. But I have written science-fiction scripts, stories, and even a few novels.

Of course, as an adult, realism sets in, and you never expect your fiction to pay for anything more than, well, your addiction to buying more books. And so it went for many years. But then, one day, the penny dropped, and I learned I could use my love of writing and story-telling to help businesses sell their products.

In 2019, I was awarded a Distinction-level Diploma in Copywriting from the world’s only accredited course. Immediately upon graduating, I ran a successful one-person agency called Copywriter One, which gave me a taste for copywriting for technology. A long-time supporter of environmental issues, copywriting for clean technologies held real interest.

In 2021, Kerridge Commercial Systems approached me to be a lead copywriter. Since then, I’ve helped shape their global brand, writing for all their software products across all the countries in which they trade. It’s been an incredible opportunity and an unforgettable experience, especially as I’ve also written their sustainability campaigns.

What motivates me is writing for technologies and products that make the world a better place. Let’s face it: the world is changing fast. Time is of the essence, and we need to be the best version of ourselves to realise a safe and secure future. I want to help sell products that help us do that. So, I’m passionate about sustainable technology and how it can help people live safer and more fulfilling lives.

That’s why Next-Gen Copy was born. And that is the mission statement I’m working hard to realise daily. Think I could help you?
